Green pigeon peas are small and green with a mellow nutty flavour. Use them to add plant-based protein to soups, stews and curries. In India, they’re often simmered with spices to create a nourishing dal. In the Caribbean, they take a starring role in soups and rice dishes.
Tropical Sun green pigeon peas are pre-cooked so there’s no need to soak them. Simply rinse with water before cooking.
