Dried fabada beans are large, buttery beans which are added to rustic Spanish soups and stews. Mild and creamy, they will absorb strong flavours like smoked pancetta, sweet paprika and slow-cooked onions and garlic.

White beans are an essential ingredient in Fabada Asturiana, a hearty Spanish stew made with pork belly, chorizo and morcilla. Typically served with cider and crusty bread, it’s like a hug in a bowl on a cold winter day.

These dried beans come from Legumbres el Maragato, a small artisan producer based in Leon in northwest Spain. Packaged in a traditional cotton sack, these beans are a versatile addition to your pantry.
