Sauce for dumplings is a must-have if you’re a dumpling fan! Specially created as a condiment to serve with dumplings, the smooth-textured, soy-sauce-based brown sauce has appealing sour-sweet notes and an umami savouriness. Serve it with dim sum classics – such as steamed har gau (prawn dumplings) or siu mai (open-faced dumplings filled with a mixture of pork and prawn) -or deep-fried wontons or enjoy it with noodles or Chinese roasted meats.
Lee Kum Kee was founded by a cook from Guangdong village who discovered oyster sauce in 1888. Known for the range and quality of its Chinese sauces, the company is now a global brand, widely used in Chinese restaurants around the world.
