Essential Cuisine beef glace adds fabulous depth of flavour to your dishes in seconds. The heavily reduced richly flavoured beef stock is a magical storecupboard ingredient. Give your sauces and marinades tremendous richness and a great hit of flavour. The beef glace has been developed by chefs for chefs. 

You'll find many uses for the Essential Cuisine beef glace:

  • Dilute with water - 25g per litre - to make up a beef stock for a richer tasting broth, or stir into gravy and jus to enrich, change or add flavour
  • Intensify flavours in braises and stews: stir a teaspoon into the sauce for a rich beef casserole, bolognese sauce, braised short ribs, or cottage pie
  • Intensify flavours in sauces: deglaze a pan after frying a steak with white wine, add a little cream and peppercorns, and whisk in a teaspoon of the glaze for a beautifully rich flavoured sauce
  • Brush the glace onto roast beef just before serving, for a rich glossy shine
