Vegan Lactic Acid Powder, 100g

Description

Vegan lactic acid powder is used to make vegan-friendly cheese, to impart a sour flavour in cocktails and to brew beer at home. Lactic acid is mostly found in milk products such as yogurt, kefir and lassi as is responsible for the sour flavour. This lactic acid powder is made from cane or beet sugar making it suitable for vegans. 

Lactic acid powder is a key ingredient when making cheese, as the acidification of the milk forces it to curdle and split. The curd is the key element for making cheese (both vegan and dairy).

To use this vegan lactic acid powder, dissolve in hot or cold solution and use as required.
