Pariani’s hazelnut nougat paste is an indulgent Italian spread for topping brioche, panettone and French toast. Pariani uses the finest Nocciola Piemonte IGP hazelnuts to make the nougat. Following a traditional recipe from 1883, the hazelnuts are combined with egg whites, steamed for 7 hours, shaped and then turned into a paste.

With an intense, sweet flavour and slightly granular texture, this paste is excellent served with waffles, stirred through yogurt, or enjoyed alone!
