Use the chopped Piemonte IGP hazelnuts to coat homemade chocolate truffles or decorate the top of a coffee cake. Add into biscuit dough for nutty tea-time treats, or simply sprinkle over an ice cream sundae. The chopped roasted Piemonte IGP hazelnuts are also a great addition to salads.
The hazelnuts are grown in Piemonte, or Piedmont, a region of northwest Italy that borders France and Switzerland.
