Description
Coconut oil is a creamy edible oil extracted from the flesh of mature coconuts. It has been a staple in Southeast Asian cooking for hundreds of years, adding a subtle flavour to curries and stir-fries. This high quality virgin coconut oil can also be used to make dressings. Mix it with lime juice, grated ginger and soy sauce to add zing to Asian salads and sales.
As it is solid at room temperature, coconut oil can be used in vegan baking as a replacement for butter.
