Nunez de Prado organic extra virgin olive oil DOP is a remarkably fruity olive oil with notes of tropical passion fruit and papaya. It has a spicy finish that wakes up the taste buds and livens up leafy salads and fresh fish dishes.

This organic olive oil is made from a blend of Spanish olives, including Picudo, Hojiblanca and Picual. Picudo olives are native to the Baena region where the Nunez de Prado estate is located, and have a subtly floral aroma. Hojiblanca olives are naturally sweet, while Picual olives bring bitter notes and a long-lasting finish. This extra virgin olive oil is obtained from the first cold press of olives, and is one of the highest grades of olive oil.

The olives are grown on the Núñez de Prado family’s 200-year-old estate in Baena, Andalucia, which has been DOP certified for nearly 20 years. Once handpicked, the olives are pressed within hours at a mill just eight miles east of the olive groves.
