Frantoi Cutrera Primo BIO is an organic extra virgin olive oil from Sicily. It’s made with Tonda Iblea olives grown in the Hyblaean Mountains. 

Primo was the first Sicilian olive oil to obtain PDO status. It has received over 170 awards in just over 20 years.

Native to the island, Tonda Iblea olives produce a robust, fruity olive oil. It has a velvety mouthfeel and aromas of freshly cut grass. Taste it on its own to discover notes of green tomato and fresh herbs.

This aromatic oil is extremely versatile. The bold, balanced flavour can stand up to red meat and rich sauces. You can use it in marinades with garlic and black pepper. Or, use it to sweat onions for caponata and ragu.
