This Puglian olive oil with garlic in a terracotta bottle is an example of the finest quality Italian oil that Galantino produces. A medium-fruity oil with layers of peppery flavour and garlic, it comes in a hand-painted terracotta bottle adorned with a garlic bulb design. It is a piece of art for your kitchen you will want to display long after the bottle is empty.
Galanatino cold-press their oils using traditional methods that have passed down through generations. They are grown in one of Italy's oldest olive-growing regions, which is world-renowned for a premium- quality olive crop with a unique flavour. This Fruttato Medio oil has a smooth and fruity flavour with a peppery lingering finish. It's rich intensity is carefully balanced with the infused flavour of fresh garlic.
Combine with aged balsamic and dip in crusty sourdough bread to experience the full layers of flavour of this outstanding oil. Or use to dress leafy green salads or over fresh tomato bruschetta to bring a delicious taste of Italy into your kitchen.
How to open
These ceramic bottles are corked and can be opened with a traditional T-shaped wine corkscrew. The bottle's cork is much shorter than a regular wine bottle, so only a couple of screws are needed to get a firm grip. Pull out in a controlled and slow movement. If the cork breaks, a Cork Stopper will allow for a controlled pour and to preserve the oil.
Ingredients: extra virgin olive oil (99%), garlic (1%).
Storage: Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.
