Abido Jordanian thyme is a fragrant spice & herb blend for Middle Eastern cooking. Made of thyme, sesame seeds, freekeh, sumac and salt, this nutty mix has a mild acidity that cuts through the richness of meat dishes or creamy dips.
Stir Jordanian thyme through olive oil, then brush over warm pita breads as part of a mezze-style feast. We also love using this thyme blend as a dry marinade for chicken and lamb, or as a quick and easy way to pep up hummus.
Ingredients: Freekeh, wheat bran, sesame peel, sesame, grinded thyme leaves, sunflower oil, salt, citric acid, sumac.
