Black sesame seeds are slowly roasted twice, then double-ground to create a creamy, glossy finish.
Belazu’s black tahini works wonderfully in baking as it has a nuttier depth of flavour than its white counterpart. Pair it with sweet white chocolate in cookies, swirled through babka buns, or drizzle over a stack of fluffy pancakes.
This tahini also makes a great substitute for classic tahini if you’re after a more dramatic look. Drizzle over halloumi with honey, use it to dress cauliflower salads or pair with hummus and serve with fluffy pittas.
