Al Dayaa Tahini Sesame Paste, 400g


Al Dayaa tahini, also called tahine, tahina or tahineh, sesame paste is a nutty paste for Middle Eastern cooking. Tahineh, or tahini, is made by grinding sesame seeds into a smooth paste. With a strong nutty taste, this creamy sesame paste is also popular in Greek and Moroccan cooking.

To make a classic Israeli dressing (also known as tahini sauce), whisk the sesame paste with ice cold water, lemon juice and a pinch of salt until lightly coloured and silky smooth. Spoon generously over falafel and almost any roasted vegetables.

Tahini sesame paste is a store cupboard staple for both sweet and savoury cooking. Swirl tahini through your blondie batter to balance the sweetness of the bake, drizzle over granola, serve with whole roast cauliflower, or add it to chickpeas to make hummus.
