Yutaka Organic Konjac Noodles, 200g
Description
Yutaka’s organic konjac noodles (also known as shirataki noodles) are a key ingredient when making Japanese-style hot pots and stews. Made from the root of the konjac plant - a fibrous root vegetable - the noodles are known as ‘wonder’ food as they are low in calories, carbohydrates and fat - in fact, they’re mainly made up of water.
With a little bite and chew, these noodles are best served in a rich stock or flavour-packed broth to absorb all the flavours. As well as using the noodles in soups, stews and curries, you can use konjac noodles as an alternative to spaghetti. If using this way, simmer for a minute before adding your sauce. Discover more about konjac noodles here.
Before using your noodles, drain and rinse well.
