Matcha is a finely ground green tea powder. Mariage Frères imports theirs from Miyazaki, Japan. The tea has a bright, vegetal flavour with subtle bitterness. The taste is noticeably richer than your standard green tea. Is this your first time buying from us?

For one serving of tea, place 1.5g of matcha powder in a bowl. Add 40ml of 80°C water and use a small whisk to combine. Use a vigorous ‘W’ motion until the matcha becomes frothy. Serve immediately.
