The maki roll maker is the easy way to make perfect maki sushi rolls every time. Ideal for Japanese dinner parties or everyday use.
Fill the mould just under half-way with prepared sushi rice. Then lay your chosen filling along the middle, and cover with more sushi rice to fill the mould. Press the lid into the mould firmly, remove the lid and turn out from the mould. Place on a sheet of nori and carefully wrap the sushi roll, gently pressing the nori around the shape. To serve, slice the roll into equally sized pieces, approximately 3cm thick.
