Chaat Masala Mangal, 100g

Chaat masala, also called chat masala is a beautiful mix of Indian spices that will add fragrance, flavour and gentle heat to your finished recipes. As the main ingredient is salt, it is used more often as a seasoning, rather than just a spice mix in cooking. Sprinkle it over chickpea dhals, or use to season homemade onion pakoras.

‘Chat’ simply means snack, while the word ‘masala’ means spice mixture, with different regions of India known for their specific masala or spice mixtures which characterise certain recipes. So use this convenient mix of spices and salt to season any snack of your choice. It’s also a delicious addition to cheese on toast!
