Description
Tex's Coat & Bake is an all-purpose seasoning blend for meat, fish and vegetables. As the name suggests, you simply coat your chosen ingredients and bake them in the oven for a quick, tasty meal. Developed more than 60 years ago, this spice blend will add a deep, savoury flavour to grilled meat and roasted vegetables.
For baked chicken thighs: Dip the chicken into whisked egg or milk (optional). Put some Coat & Bake in a polythene bag, add the chicken and shake until properly coated. Place the coated chicken pieces on a warm baking tray and bake in the oven at 200°C for thirty minutes or until cooked through.
Ingredients: Wheat flour, salt, flavour enhancer e621, black pepper, sage, celery seed, white pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, nutmeg, onion powder, rusk, raising agents e431, 500.
