Description
The Nishikigoi Ramen Bowl is hand-decorated with white and orange koi against a dark blue background, designed to resemble deep pond water. These Japanese carp are sometimes called “living jewels” because of their striking colours and patterns.
Deep sides and a sturdy base make it a good choice for generous servings of ramen, with plenty of room for noodles, umami-rich broth and toppings. It’s also well suited to donburi, the Japanese rice bowl dish — try steamed rice topped with chicken, egg and spring onions.
