Morelli 6 flavours papillon pasta makes mealtimes more fun. Shaped like butterflies, the pasta is coloured with natural ingredients. Vegetable powders and turmeric create shades of red, green and gold.
For the darkest butterflies, Morelli adds squid ink to the dough. It imparts a subtle briny flavour.
Serve this colourful pasta with rich, creamy sauces. Delight dinner guests with seasonal flavours like wild garlic or porcini mushroom. It’s also delicious with a light tomato-basil sauce.
Morelli uses an artisan method of reincorporating wheat germ into semolina. It gives their pasta a unique flavour and aroma, similar to toasted wheat.
Morelli pasta is bronze-drawn and dried slowly at low temperatures. This is the secret to the rough surface that helps sauces to cling.
Cooking time: 13-14 minutes.
