Glug extra virgin olive oil comes from Jaén in Andalusia, Spain. This region is often called the ‘world capital of olive oil’. Farmers have been growing Picual olives in Jaén for thousands of years.
Glug oil is made from 100% Picual olives harvested late in the season. They are cold-pressed to preserve freshness and flavour. Glug promises ‘no blending and no funny business’ - just great oil at an affordable price.
About Glug
Glug was founded in 2023 by EVOO connoisseurs, Katia and Tom. Their mission is to get fresh, single origin olive oil into your kitchen. In their search for the perfect oil, they travelled to Andalusia in Spain. Here, they discovered the grassy, peppery flavour of Picual olive oil.
Glug sells two cold-pressed Spanish olive oils. One is for finishing and the other can be used for cooking. Their squeezy bottles and colourful tins look fantastic in your kitchen. They also make great gifts for food lovers.
