Nocellara del Belice olives produce a medium fruity oil with low acidity. They are one of the oldest native Sicilian cultivars. Expect notes of almond, artichoke and green tomato.
Taste the olive oil on its own to enjoy its complexity. EVOO enthusiasts will enjoy its persistent bitter and spicy notes. There is a hint of sweetness and a fresh, grassy aroma.
Extra virgin olive oil turns simple ingredients into something special. Add a splash of this fruity Sicilian oil to salads and platters of grilled fish. It’s fantastic with tomatoes and dishes made with beans and lentils.
