Squid ink linguine is a show-stopping dinner party dish. Toss the long, flat strands with garlic, tomatoes and seafood. Prawns, clams and scallops work well. Add chilli for a hint of spice or white crab meat for added indulgence.

Gli Artisti della Pasta uses traditional recipes passed down through generations. Their pasta is slow-dried at low temperatures and extruded through bronze dies. This gives the pasta a dense, rough surface that holds sauces well and creates the perfect al dente finish.

In 2012, Gli Artisti della Pasta became the first pasta factory to receive IGP status. IGP stands for Indicazione Geografica Protetta (Protected Geographical Indication). It is assigned to products with a quality or reputation dependent on their geographical origin.

Gli Artisti della Pasta is a family-run company founded in 1976. They are based in Gragnano, Italy.  The town has a rich history of pasta production, earning it the nickname ‘City of Pasta'.

The company produces over 150 different pasta shapes. Most are made from two ingredients: Italian durum wheat and pure spring water. For some special shapes, the dough is flavoured with squid ink, truffle and chilli.
