MGO (methylglyoxal) is a key measure of the strength and antibacterial properties of manuka honey. MGO of 30+ to 100+ is considered mild and balanced - great for everyday. While 200+ means the honey has high antibacterial properties.
Manuka honey has a rich, complex flavour. Taste it on its own to discover notes of malt and caramel. You can use it to sweeten hot drinks, baked goods and more. It’s fantastic in marinades for salmon and roast pork.
The honey is sourced from the Canterbury region of New Zealand. This area is known for its pristine and diverse natural environment.
