Each set includes three extra virgin olive oils – one of Alziari’s soft & fruity blend, one flavoured with basil and one flavoured with truffle. There’s also a sample of Alziari’s 3-year aged balsamic vinegar.
Serve each oil and vinegar in a separate dish and enjoy them with fresh bread as an appealing start to a meal.
Nicolas Alziari began producing olive oil in Nice in 1868. For 140 years, Alziari have been producing fine olive oil, expertly blending olives from different regions to get the best flavour. Alziari are one of the few European olive oil producers to champion the ‘Genoese’ method of cold extraction. The freshly picked olives are slowly ground for 2-3 hours to release the oils into a stone basin. The basin is then filled with cold water, and left until the fresh oil floats to the top. It’s collected immediately, and decanted straight into tins and bottles.
No vacuum harvesting techniques used, songbird friendly.
Ingredients: 100% extra virgin olive oil; extra virgin olive oil (99%), natural basil flavour (1%); extra virgin olive oil 98%), natural truffle flavour (2%); balsamic vinegar (concentrated grape must, wine vinegar [6° acidity], colorant E150d. Contains sulphites.
