Description

The Chocolate Detective’s wren eggs are a thoughtful gift for chocolate connoisseurs. Inside the carton are 12 milk and dark chocolate eggs. They have crisp sugar shells in shades of pale blue and green. 

The eggs have delicate speckles, just like the real thing. Six eggs are filled with silky hazelnut praline. The remaining six have a salted caramel filling.

The Chocolate Detective writes, “Britain’s tiny pocket-sized powerhouse, the Wren may be small in stature but is astonishingly bold in character. Tail cocked jauntily, he zips through hedgerows like a brown, feathered spark.”

The eggs are made in France using bean-to-bar couverture. The ethically produced cocoa comes from a large farm in Ecuador.

The recyclable boxes feature colourful bird illustrations. The artwork is by British artist and illustrator Madeleine Floyd.
