The Chocolate Detective’s Christmas robin eggs are a fun edible gift. Open the box to discover 12 eggs with white and pale blue shells. They’re covered in brown speckles, just like the real thing.

The delicate sugar shells hide a sweet surprise. Inside, you’ll find layers of milk and dark chocolate. Six eggs have a salted caramel centre. The other six are filled with hazelnut praline.

The eggs are made in France using bean-to-bar couverture. The ethically produced cocoa comes from a large farm in Ecuador.

The recyclable boxes feature colourful bird illustrations. The artwork is by British artist and illustrator Madeleine Floyd.

She writes, “Robin Redbreast is loved by many. His song is beautiful and joyous, and he sings with all his heart and soul. He is one the few birds whose song can be heard all year round.”
