Description

The Set of 2 Sabre Paris Bistrot Black Cake Forks in Gift Box brings a little Paris café feeling to pudding, without making the table feel too formal. They are small dessert forks, 16cm long, with shiny 18/10 stainless steel heads and black nylon handles held with visible rivets. Good for cake, fruit, tarts, soft cheeses, or the slice of something sweet that appears after coffee.

The Bistrot collection was inspired by French restaurants, terraces, and cafés. You can see that in the shape. It feels familiar and easy to use, but still looks considered when you put them beside dessert plates or a small after-dinner spread.

  • Set of two cake and dessert forks
  • Black nylon handles with visible rivets
  • Shiny 18/10 stainless steel fork heads
  • Gift boxed and ready to give
  • Dishwasher safe up to 45°C

These are lovely for building a mixed Sabre table, especially if you like black handles with white plates, linen napkins, and a cake stand in the middle. They also make a useful gift for someone who hosts, bakes, or has strong views on the right fork for pudding.

Dishwasher safe at a maximum of 45°C. Open the dishwasher at the end of the cycle. Avoid abrasive sponges; small marks can be rubbed away with a soft cloth or a little white vinegar.

Meet the maker: Sabre Paris

Sabre Paris is a French cutlery maker, created by Francis Gelb who comes from a family of gold and silversmiths. In 1993 Habitat asked him to design a knife - and his obsession with cutlery began.

Together with his wife Pascale, Francis has built a cutlery design house loved for its usable but striking pieces. Many of Sabre's knives and forks have become design icons in their own right.

An early adopter of the 'mix and match' style, Sabre Paris cutlery is designed to bring caharacter and colour to your table.
