Description

Red bean mochi, also known as daifuku, are a sweet Japanese snack, traditionally served with green tea. Made with glutinous rice, these soft, chewy rice cakes have a sweet, red bean paste filling. 

These glutinous rice sweets are popular across Japan and Taiwan. In Korea they are known as chapssaltteok, and are often given as a good luck gift to students taking exams. 

Ingredients: Maltose, sugar, glutinous rice (18%), red bean (17.17%), thickener (E1442), palm oil, flavouring, preservative (E200)

Allergy advice: May also contain gluten, egg, peanut, soya, milk, nuts and sesame.

Storage: Keep away from direct sunlight and store in a cool dry place. Consume soon after opening.
