Netherton Foundry Individual Spun Iron Prospector Pan, 6"

Description

Use Netherton Foundry’s individual prospector pan to cook and serve in style. It’s the perfect size for side dishes and single portions. The pan heats fast and cools quickly for fantastic cooking results.

The double-handled pan is made from 99.1% pure spun iron. It can withstand very high temperatures so it’s great for frying and browning. You can use it on open fires and all kinds of hobs, including induction.

Use this pan to serve individual portions of cauliflower cheese with Sunday lunch. It’s ideal for pasta bakes, vegetable gratins and fruit crumbles. The sturdy handles make it easy to transfer from oven to table.

Spun iron is lighter than cast iron but with the same durability and non-stick qualities. The pan comes pre-seasoned so you can get cooking right away. In time, a well-seasoned pan can be used to cook virtually fat free, for healthier cooking.

Care: Before first use, wash the pan with hot water. Do not use soap or detergent. Dry immediately with a towel. If you need to scrub, use a plastic bristled brush in hot soapy water, but avoid anything harsher.

About Netherton Foundry

The Netherton Foundry is a family company based in Shropshire – home of the 18th and 19th century ironmasters. Their pans are made from 99.1% pure iron and they use locally sourced materials wherever possible – the oak that makes the pan handles is British, and the flax seasoning oil comes from Sussex. Experienced local craftsmen use traditional manufacturing methods to bring you high quality cookware that gets better over time.
