With Netherton Foundry’s stunning copper tagine, you can cook authentic North African dishes at home. Take it from kitchen to table and let guests help themselves to a slow-cooked stew, fragrant with fruit and spices. This tagine has a hand-polished copper lid with non-stick tin lining for easy clean-up. You can use it to cook a wide range of dishes, from Moroccan meatballs to risotto and apple crumble.
The base of the tagine is made from Netherton’s signature heavy duty spun iron and has a 4 litre capacity - ideal for feeding a crowd. It has a smooth, flat base which heats up evenly and can be used on range, gas, electric and induction hobs. The bowl is pre-seasoned with flax oil so you can start cooking right away!
Tagines were traditionally used as portable ovens, letting people cook and carry food as they travel. The funnel-style lid lets steam rise, condense, then fall back, keeping your ingredients moist and tender.

Spun iron cookware is probably what the brand is most known for, in particular they immensely popular prospector pan, used by chefs and home cooks alike. But over the years they have expanded their range to also include fantastic, tin lined copper. It’s a great brand for fantastic quality cookware. Their pans are made from locally sourced materials wherever possible. Experienced local craftsmen use traditional manufacturing methods to bring you high quality cookware that gets better over time.
