The wine is made with Tempranillo grapes which are native to northern Spain. This full-bodied red has an intense colour and fragrance. Inhale deeply to discover aromas of ripe fruit, dried flowers and cocoa. The wine is aged for 8 months in French and American oak barrels. 

On the palate, it’s smooth and well-balanced. Fresh acidity gives way to bold black fruit flavours. Let it linger on your tongue to appreciate hints of blackberry and liquorice.

Tempranillo is a natural match for Spanish cured meats. Its powerful flavour can stand up to rich meats like pork and lamb. You can also pair it with tapas dishes like albondigas and gambas al ajillo

Bodegas Gondomar del Reino is situated in Fompedraza, a village in Valladolid, Castile and León. They make mostly red wines, with the Tempranillo grape accounting for 90% of production.
