The DOAP French Blue Classic Silicone Dough Cleaning Bar is one of the most exciting innovations for bakers that we've seen in years! In a soft blue colour.
It looks like a small bar of soap, but it is made from soft food-grade platinum silicone, with flexible little nubs that help lift sticky dough from hands, bowls, starter jars and dough tubs using water.
It feels gentle on hands, while thoroughly removing dough from all the nooks and crannies: around knuckles, under nails, along the inside curve of a mixing bowl. Keep one by the sink, and never put a dough-ruined sponge in the bin again!

It is made from ultra-high purity, food-grade platinum silicone, with a flexible feel that is firm. After use, leave the bar in water for 10–15 minutes so any dough softens, then rinse, wash with a little dish soap, and let it dry on the rack.

DOAP is the result of one baker's frustration - facing a problem that many fellow bakers will recognise. Joshua Grange invented his revolutionary silicone 'soap' after growing tired of sticky dough clinging to his hands after every bake, and ruining traditional sponges.
Determined to find a solution, he designed a simple silicone scrubber that removes dough using nothing but water.
Every DOAP is handmade in Nashville from premium American-made silicone. Exclusively available in the UK, at Sous Chef.
