Kimchi is Korea’s national dish. It’s made with vegetables fermented with salt, ginger, garlic and fish sauce. Gochugaru (Korean red pepper powder) gives it a spicy kick.

Chimac uses Asian ingredients to recreate the flavour of kimchi. Sweet-sour tomato sauce is infused with spring onions, fish sauce and fiery gochugaru. Rice wine vinegar adds a fresh, tangy note.

Serve this Korean-style ketchup with fried chicken or bulgogi beef burgers. It’s fantastic in a bacon sandwich, too. You can add it to stir fries or mix it with mayo to make a dip for sweet potato fries.

Chimac sauces are made in Dublin and inspired by the flavours of Korea.
