Alpenzu’s Giardiniera mixed vegetable pickles are a sweet and sour combination of peppers, carrots, cauliflower, fennel, celery and green beans. The vegetables are carefully prepared by hand, then preserved to create a firm, crunchy texture in every piece. The addition of apple cider vinegar brings a tangy flavour to the vegetable mix. 

Giardiniera – also called sottaceti which translates as ‘under vinegar’ – are typically eaten as an antipasto, or with salads. It is also traditional in Italy to layer these mixed vegetable pickles through a muffuletta sandwich.
