Description
Homi Kitchen Giga Chilli Sauce is bursting with Asian flavours. It’s made with fresh ginger, garlic and lots of red chillies. It’s inspired by the fiery sauce that’s served with Hainanese chicken rice.
Hainanese chicken rice is one of Singapore’s national dishes. Poached chicken is served with rice cooked in fragrant chicken stock. The dish is accompanied by chilli sauce, ginger-garlic sauce and kecap manis (sweet soy sauce).
Giga Chilli Sauce has a rich, savoury flavour. It adds heat and umami to fried rice and noodle dishes. Red chilli and zingy ginger are a great match for chicken and steamed fish. Drizzle it over dumplings or a rice noodle salad.
Give the sauce a good stir before serving. Make sure you scoop up all the good bits!
For a quick dipping sauce, mix Giga Chilli Sauce with soy and black vinegar. It’s delicious with dumplings and tempura prawns.
