OXO Good Grips Ratcheting Pineapple Slicer

OXO Good Grips Ratcheting Pineapple Slicer

The OXO Good Grips ratcheting pineapple slicer is possibly the easiest way to prepare a whole pineapple.

Slice the top off your pineapple and use the scale on the side of the slicer to gauge how tall the fruit is. That way you’ll know when you’re reaching the bottom of the fruit and won’t carry on slicing into your work surface!

Then firmly press the slicer into the top of the pineapple, making sure to carefully position it over the core. Then twists the easy-grip handle – the ratcheting mechanism reduces strain on the hands and wrists for more comfortable operation. When you reach the bottom, pull the whole thing out and remove your perfectly peeled spiral of pineapple. Take it off the handle and place upright on a cutting board. One cut down the whole length separates it into individual rings, ready to eat.
