Lunar New Year, also known as Chinese New Year or Spring Festival, is a traditional holiday celebrated by Chinese and many other Asian cultures.

In 2024, Lunar New Year will be start on February 10th and it will be the Year of the Dragon, which indicates a time for new starts, great beginnings, hard work, and power to growth and prosperity. The celebration usually lasts for 15 days, ending with the Lantern Festival on the 24th February.

During the celebration, people typically clean and decorate their house, visit their family and friends, and pay respects to their ancestors. Many people will also give gifts such as fruits, sweets, and red envelopes filled with money to their loved ones.

Lunar New Year is a time of reunion, happiness, and celebration. It is a time for people to reflect on the past year and look forward to the new one with hope and optimism. It is a time to be with loved ones, to enjoy traditional foods and customs, and to welcome in good luck and prosperity for the coming year.
