Description

Chinese wind-dried pork sausage - lap cheong or lạp xưởng - is a semi-dried pork sausage, seasoned with a sweet-salty and light rosewater liquor. The Chinese wind-dried sausage is highly seasoned so is used to balance flavours of other ingredients. A little goes a very long way - perhaps adding just one or two sausages to a dish for four people. Each packet contains 4 sausages.

Fry small pieces of the sausage in oil and stir through soaked glutinous rice before it is steamed, or season a dish of greens or vegetables.

Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within a few days. Made in the Germany. Ingredients: Pork, sugar, pork fat, salt, light soy sauce (water, salt, soybean, white sugar, wheat flour, preservative: E211, flavour enhancers: E631, E627), rose liquer (sorghum, rose flower, water, barley, pea, sugar) spices, preservative: E250, collagen casing.
