Africa’s Finest plantain fufu is a dough ball mix for making the starchy side dish. This grain mix blends plantain with cassava and potato granules. Use this mix to make fufu, a staple dish in West African cuisine, and Ghana’s national dish.
Fufu is a starchy side dish which is served alongside soups and stews. Follow the below instructions to make plantain fufu:
- Use 3/4 cup of water to 1/2 cup of fufu.
- Place the water into a medium sized pan and add the fufu a little at a time, stirring until your desired thickness is reached.
- Warm over a medium heat, stirring continuously, for 4-5 minutes until rich and smooth. Ensure the mix is heated thoroughly.
- Mould the mixture into balls and serve.
