Organic Black Turtle Beans, 500g
Description
These small, glossy organic black turtle beans are fantastic in South American and Brazilian dishes, such as a classic feijoada completa stew with pork and beef. The beans have a creamy pale centre and a mild nutty flavour. Use them in soups, stews, casseroles and salads.
Soak the beans in plenty of cold water for at least 8 hours or overnight. Drain and rinse, cover with fresh water and bring to the boil. Simmer until tender (around 1 hour). Drain and season to taste or add to your favourite recipe.
