Use this Cool Chile Co. Black Bean Kit to create authentic frijoles de la olla. These saucy spiced black beans will bring a taste of Mexico to your home!

All you need to get started is one small onion and a neutral cooking oil such as rapeseed and you’ll be good to go. The set includes black beans, chiles de árbol, mexican epazote, smoked paprika and a recipe card with an additional bonus recipe.

Black Bean Cooking Instructions 
Serves 4
- Cook beans with chiles de árbol, mexican epazote and onion.
- Cooking time approximately 2 ½ hours (no need to presoak the beans)
- Serve with warmed Cool Chile Corn Tortillas, diced avocado, finely chopped onion and lime.
