Palm Sugar

Palm sugar is an integral component of the culinary heritage of many tropical regions, especially Southeast Asia, South Asia, and parts of Central and South America.

It is sweet, rich and fudgy with an intense and earthy caramel flavour that is a common ingredient in both savoury and sweet dishes.

Palm sugar and coconut palm sugar is sustainably made from sap harvested from palm trees which is boiled down and dried to create blocks, cakes, or granules of palm sugar.

Perfect for pad Thai, Indonesian Rendang and Malaysian Rojak or use it in curries, chutneys, stir fries and desserts for depth and butterscotch richness.
