La Cuna Mushroom Pate with Truffle, 175g


La Cuna mushroom pâté has a light, mousse-like texture and an earthy mushroom flavour. It is made using a traditional recipe in Toledo, a historic city in Castilla-La Mancha. Specially selected mushrooms are combined with leeks, ground peanuts, butter and olive oil, then blended until smooth. The addition of white truffle gives it a wonderful aroma and rich, woodsy flavour.

Serve this flavoursome mushroom pâté with picos (little Spanish breadsticks) or crunchy toasted sourdough. It’s a great spread for wraps and sandwiches or a dip for crudités. Try adding a spoonful to a cheesy white sauce for a vegetarian lasagne or melt it into a creamy sauce for pasta or grilled chicken.
