The ProQ cold smoking and curing kit lets you make your own smoked salmon at home. The kit contains the following:

  • ProQ Beech Premium Smoking Wood Dust - for a delicate, camp-fire smoky
  • Traditional Salmon Cure - a classic blend of cane sugar and Cornish sea salt
  • Meat Hooks x2
  • Resealable Curing Bags x2
  • Full Curing and Smoking Instructions 

With this kit, all you need to do is provide your own fresh fish and a container to smoke it in. The set contains enough salmon cure to create 2 x 500g batches of smoked salmon - slice and serve with cream cheese bagels for a New York-inspired breakfast, or pair with rye bread and dill for a Scandi lunch spread.

The dry cure mix draws out the liquid from the salmon while the cold-smoking process produces the distinctive flavour you know and love. The kit makes a wonderful gift for adventurous cooks, or treat yourself to one and make cold smoking your next weekend project.
