Description
Scatter kimchi roasted sesame seeds over rice or noodles to add crunch, nuttiness and the signature fiery heat of kimchi. The sesame seeds are roasted with red chilli pepper flakes, garlic and bonito extract. Try using the seeds to add heat to the outside of a California sushi roll, or use in a crispy coating for fried prawns. The orange-hued kimchi roasted sesame seeds are also handy for decorating food in bento boxes.
Kimchi is a famous side dish from Korea, so try using this sesame seasoning to liven up dishes from both Korea and Japan. Sprinkle over a bibimbap or a bowl of ramen for added texture, flavour and chilli heat.
