Citizens of Soil Greek extra virgin olive oil has a delicate, fruity flavour. It’s great for drizzling over flatbreads, potatoes and grilled fish.
When you open the bottle, you will be hit by aromas of apple, oregano and basil. It will transport you to the sun-soaked Peloponnese where this oil is produced. The oil has a smooth mouthfeel and a lingering finish with a hint of spice.
This single estate oil is made with olives that are milled within 24 hours of being picked. This gives the oil an intense, fresh flavour. It is lightly filtered so it has a slightly cloudy appearance.
Use this flavourful olive oil to make dips, dressings and herby sauces. It’s great for pesto and chimichurri. You can use it to dress a Greek salad or marinade souvlaki before grilling. It’s also delicious drizzled over vanilla ice cream with a pinch of sea salt.
Citizens of Soil work with female oil producers, who work alongside the environment. They are B-Corp registered.
