Japanese Plates

If you want to make your sushi, yakitori or okonomiyaki look as amazing as they taste, you’ll want some Japanese plates to serve and eat it on. Luckily Japanese ceramics are as varied and sophisticated as Japanese cuisine.

Japanese ceramics are often decorated with designs drawn from nature, such as cherry blossoms or maple leaves. Geometric designs and patterns that highlight the natural shapes of the ceramic are also popular. Sushi platters and Japanese dinner plates are often square or rectangular in shape, adding to the geometric look.

Japanese plates are also available in smaller sizes to use as side plates or to serve smaller dishes such as gyoza and tempura, as well as desserts.
