What is a Gyuto knife good for?
It is a wonderfully versatile knife for slicing and chopping meat, fish and vegetables. The smooth blade tapers to a sharp point - perfect for cutting through leafy vegetables and herbs or scoring fish before cooking.
What is the difference between Gyoto and Santoku?
A Gyuto knife has a more curved edge than a Santoku. It has a slightly less turned down edge and a more true sharp point. This makes a rocking motion when cutting easier.
